Overview

The wait is over! Babolat updates the popular SFX2 with a new upper design that's softer and more breathable than before thanks to an additional amount of mesh. Comfort is still the key storyline, as the SFX3 features one of the most advanced layered stock insoles on the market, along with the ever-plush Kompressor cushioning system that absorbs shock under foot from harsh landings. The Michelin rubber outsole continues to be one of the more durable materials on the market and will play great on a variety of surfaces. Players with wider feet who place a premium on comfort should take this model into serious consideration!

  • Fit: Length is true (if between sizes, we recommend going to the smaller size). Width is slightly wide (mostly in the toe-box). Arch is medium. No break-in required.
  • Upper: A mesh upper with TPU for added durability offers a breathable and flexible experience.
  • Midsole: Kompressor System heel cushioning technology for increased comfort and shock absorption during aggressive court movement. EVA/PU insole memory foam for plush feel underfoot.
  • Outsole: Michelin Performance outsole for impressive traction and durability.
  • Weight: 394 grams (US size 10.5)
  • Colour: White / Blue

If you have wide feet and achilles heel problems, these are your shoes.I have tried and compared them with the gel resolution 7s and solecourt boosts.I would love to be able to wear one of those two because they are high flying shoes. But my feet are a bit wide and my achilles heel is problematic and these shoes saved me

Comments: These shoes are just as good as the SFX2, so glad that Babolat brought these back. I've tried so many brands and these are my favorite.

Comments: Wow these are really wide and I think they also run a little longer than the previous generation of SFX, but overall they are very comfortable and well cushioned. I ordered the blue ones initially and just got the white ones too.

Comments: 4.0-4.5 playing 5-10 hrs/week. Exceptionally comfortable shoe for someone with wide feet. Accommodates a custom insoles easily. Comfortable right out of the box. I didn't notice any stability concerns on Har-Tru courts in singles or doubles. Ordering another pair today.

Comments: Thank you Babolat for making a shoe for those us with wider wheels! I love these shoes, they feel great and look stylish. I am ordering another pair right now. I'm an average player, not screaming side to side on the court, and lateral support has not been a problem for me.

Comments: 4.0-4.5 playing about 5x a week, so I need good shoes. So I so much wanted to like these shoes, I was a fan of the original SFX which were wide and very cushioned, I had bought 4 pairs until they changed to the SFX2. I walked on the treadmill with SFX3s and they were so comfortable. I was thinking I would stock up because it is so hard to find good wide court shoes. Well when I played in them and the comfort came at a price. The lateral movement was terrible. The upper is mostly breathable and flexible mesh, but it doesn't have enough firmness on the outside by the small toe, so when I got pulled out wide and had to stop to change directions and recover I felt my foot slide over the insoles inside the shoe. They reminded me of the NB's 1006 2Es in which they were light but no lateral support to plant and change directions side to side. The Asics Speed 2 was similar in comfort but somehow had a little better support, alas they don't make them like that anymore. These SFXs will be doubles only shoes. I heard on TV that Rodger Federer was a 4E yet Nike and so many other brands don't make wide sizes. Even NB's top shoe doesn't come in 4E!

Comments: The original SFX is the perfect shoe for me (wide feet), and after being disappointed by the narrower SFX 2, I was *extremely* excited when these were announced, and immediately ordered a pair. The fit is very similar to the original SFX, and -- unexpected bonus -- they look really really nice! However... Did Babolat forget that this shoe is for tennis?? Where is the lateral support?!There is literally *no* lateral support and the upper is way too soft. When I played with these on hardcourt my feet were sliding off the shoe -- not exaggerating. I've never experienced this with other tennis shoes I've worn (Nike, Asics, original SFX, plus other Babolat shoes). How could they mess this up? very disappointing. However, as mentioned above, they do look nice, so I will just wear them as sneakers... For tennis I guess I have to go back to the ugly New Balance, sadly.

Comments: Finally, a light weight pair of shoes that run real wide! I usually wear New Balance 1006 4E (my actual width is between a 2E and a 4E but I opted for the 4E and wear thick thorlos socks). With the SFX I'm able to wear a much thinner sock made by Vitasox, which I prefer to wear because they are cooler my feet. I'm not putting down the New Balance shoes as they fit great but they weigh almost a full ounce more. Needless to say, I feel faster on my feet with the SFX. They have the perfect amount of room in the toe box and I was surprised there was no break in period that was needed as they were instantly comfortable right out of the box! I really like the lacing system as you can securely tighten them up and feel secure in them. Stability was very good but they do run a little bit wide around the ankle. However, thankfully, the last two laces at the top of the shoe allow you to adequately lock in your ankles. Overall, a fantastic shoe for me as I have not found a shoe as good as these since the Asic Resolution 6 EE which they don't make anymore. I loved them so much I bought another pair in case they quickly sell out.

Comments: Just got my new SFX3 shoes. They feel great and I have lot of room in the toe. My last pair of shoes were new balance 1006 11.5 2E and I got an 11.5 in the Babolat and they fit great.
