Comfortable, supportive, with a responsive and speedy feel

Diadora raises the bar on their performance footwear, with the Speed B-Icon! Taking the midsole superfoam from their premium running shoes and infusing it into the B-Icon, you'll find great shock absorption, while also being extremely light, and responsive. The D-Skin upper material hugs the foot uniformly to help maximize the support, and to reduce stress on pressure points. An outer hook on the lateral side of the shoe is connected to the lacing system, which helps to lock-in the heels, and boost support around the ankles. Tried and true Duratech 5000 rubber compound provides a high level of wear resistance, and plenty of traction a variety of court surfaces.
  • Upper: D-Skin technology encompases Air Mesh for ventilation, with Net Skin on top to hug the foot with support.
  • Midsole: DD Anima ultra light and responsive foam, provides a high level of cushion, and explosive energy return. CCB maximizes stability for aggressive changes of direction.
  • Outsole: Duratech 5000 rubber compound in a modified herringbone pattern for optimal traction and durability on all court surfaces.
  • Colour: Red / White / Black

Comments: After reviewing videos on the latest tennis shoes, I decided on the Diadora. They perform well, if you suffer from heel pain or foot pain, I recommend these. They have great shock absorption. If you have a wide foot like mine, order 1/2 size larger. Hey, they are in stock too so no waiting months for your size in the other big name shoes.

Comments: I liked the shoes, it took maybe 4 hours for me to break them in. I had to move the last lace to the bottom hole because it was cutting circulation off from the top of my foot. After I changed that though, they played great. I have had them for about a month and play about 2 times a week. The outsole on the lateral side where it meets the plastic has started to separate and the medial toe guard has already worn through. The outsole is holding up great however, with no signs of use. I am super disappointed about the separation and the poor durability of the toe box and so that's why I give it a 3 instead of a 5.

Comments: Comfortable, runs small, doesn't breathe well. I think the YouTube video that Tennis Warehouse did on this product is very accurate.

Comments: I'm a hard-core fan of Diadora tennis shoes; I have wide feet, and 50 years old, and play both singles and doubles at the 3.5- 4.0 level. I have owned almost every iteration of both the leather "Star K" line as well as the more recent Blushields lines. I've generally favored Diadora tennis shoes because of the extreme sense of stability and security they provide. I was worried these would be too narrow: no problem; they fit actually a bit better than the Blushields in same size. The shoes are certainly a little lighter, although I've never fetishized weight; unlike the Blushields, which have an almost boot-like feel, they fit more like slippers. I use orthotics, and they accommodated them as well as the Blushields. I don't think the actual sides of the shoe are quite as stiff/supportive as the (previous generation) Blushields, but I did feel that my anew was locked in well, once of course I laced them tightly, which is a somewhat onerous task. All in all I liked them a lot, and think they are perhaps a bit more springy and keep you on the balls of your feet (like the old Star K); they are squeaky however!

Comments: The Diadora B.Icons are fantastic shoes! I have personally tried most of the top shoes on the market now and these, for me, are clearly the best performance shoe now (or for that matter, perhaps ever!). It is just that good! A great blend of comfort, quickness, stability, durability, and breathability. They are as good laterally as they are moving front to back. These are some of the most tech packed tennis shoes you can buy right now. These are a very unique shoe in that they have the comfort and cushioning of a heavier shoe in a quick and nimble performance package. Amazing! I would have to give the Diadora B.Icon a perfect 10 in all categories. It is the most complete shoe I have ever worn - superb cushioning, breathability, performance, and stability. This has to be the #1 shoe for 2022.

Comments: Been an Ascis guy for years but do to supply chain issues and availability needed to try something else. Diadora built a comfortable and stabile shoe. I like them so much much bought both colors. The only negative I have is the top lace hole goes through the support plastic that gives the ankle more stability, gets little getting use to in tightening the shoe. Excellent shoe, would recommend.

Comments: These are great shoes. Hardly any break-in needed, and very comfortable and supportive. Relatively light weight, low to the ground, and very fast around the court. They support hard directional changes and foot stomps really well. I normally wear a 9.5 but ordered down to a 9.0 and they fit perfect. The rubber on the bottom is very squeaky on hard courts, but not a deal breaker. Durability might be on the low side as I have worn through the uppers a bit from sliding and toe dragging. The top of the toe box is also starting to crease a bit at the base of the laces, but mostly cosmetic. The top of the laces jumble together when I lace them up, and it always takes me an extra few moments to lace them up. At this point I am just nitpicking, these are great shoes and you should buy them.

Comments: Very Comfortable Shoes. Took TW's advice and ordered half a size smaller which worked really well. The shoes are really comfortable and very light, I use these for Pickleball. The only downside is that they are so comfortable that you don't feel that your legs are tired. Very happy with them. I've been wearing KSwiss but these Diadora's are my new favorites

Comments: Agree with Michael! I normally wear size 12.5 and ordered the size 12 on Tennis Warehouse recommendation, since they run large according to them. Had to return the size 12 back for a 12.5. The process was very easy.

Comments: Excellent cushioning, fantastic gripping on hard courts, and a secure, locked in feeling. Best shoes I have ever worn in my 50 plus year tennis career. Well done Diadora!.

Comments: I'm really enjoying the comfort and support from this shoe. The toe box material allows your foot to breathe! Diadora has a winner with this shoe!

Comments: Loving this shoe. I was a great fan of the Speed K Star (kangaroo leather) shoes and these are just as comfortable but breathe better. Some nice room in the forefoot but the heel feels secure and the whole shoes feels locked in. Plush but good court feel. Give them a try, you won't be sorry!
