Meet the 2027 CX 400! Featuring a stable 24mm beam and an open 16x19 string pattern, this model combines a plush and solid feel with spin friendly targeting. It's also extremely fast, making it easy for intermediate players to scramble on defense or maximize stroke speed when loading the ball with pace and spin. For this update, Dunlop increases power and torsional stability by stiffening the frame below the 2/10 o'clock axis (think less frame wobble on off-center impact). To accommodate this change, Dunlop repositions Sonic Core with Infinergy to better dampen the shock of impact. Comfort is further enhanced by Vibroshield, a highly elastic dampening agent in the shaft and lower hoop. Like the previous generation, this model features Powergrid Stringtech+, which features wider cross-string spacing to enhance spin and power. Ultimately, with some incremental tweaks to the feel and response, the CX 400 is a great option for intermediate players looking for a speedy and spin-friendly weapon with enough pop to keep your opponent in check.
