Overview

Responsive, quick and super comfortable!

Add some spring into your step with the NikeCourt Zoom NXT! This high performance court shoe features a large Zoom Air unit in the forefoot to supply you with energy return as you sprint towards the next shot. Weight has been strategically reduced to help keep you feeling light, but still maintains the durability needed when grinding it out on the hard courts. Breathable mesh on the uppers is designed to keep your feet cool, while the padded ankle collar, and Zoom Air underfoot will keep you feeling comfy for hours on court.

  • Upper: Breatheable mesh designed to keep feet cool during tough matches. Plush and padded ankle collar for added comfort. Partial internal sleeve supplies a glove-like fit, and reduces heel slip. Pull tabs on heel and tongue to make it easy for taking on or off.
  • Midsole: Large Zoom Air Unit in the forefoot, that is curved to respond to your stride. Midfoot shank plate provides rigidity for stability, while having enough flexibility for easy heel to toe transition.
  • Outsole: A data informed outsole, which eliminates extra bulk, but is durable where most needed.

Comments: These shoes broke before I could try them on. The eylet where the shoe strings go are sewn on very poorly and broke. I am returning these. I never got to wear them before they broke.

Comments: After reading the reviews that cautioned about the firmness of the heel on this shoe I was hesitant to try it. However I decided to give it a go anyway. Yes, the heel is firm but not uncomfortable. And yes if you have heel problems you may want to look elsewhere. Overall, this is a very comfortable shoe. My favorite shoe is the Zoom Zero. This is not as snug but fits me very well. You do get a slight feel of being encouraged to move forward but stability is good. A much more agile shoe than the Turbo GP but not as plush. I found the Turbo GP to be a real "clunky" shoe and cramped in the toe box. These NXT are just right in fit and feel.

Comments: I have primarily been purchasing Nike tennis shoes for about the last 10 years and these might be the most comfortable to play in. Even after 2+ hours on the court my feet aren't aching so much that I have to change my shoes when leaving the court. Shoe fits a little on the bigger side. Also these shoes are not as easy to slide in. Time will tell if I wear our the toe area quickly.

Comments: These strike a good balance between comfort and responsiveness. TW is correct that they run a little long.

Comments: heavy, painful in the heal & cheaply made I am always hopeful that new Nike shoes will wow me, but these unfortunately fell short in most categories. They were too heavy, and the heal structure is very bulky and uncomfortable. I put my go-to insoles in the shoes and that helped a little bit, but moving around on the court immediately felt too hard in the heel. That unusual bridge piece along the bottom of the arch makes it difficult to flex your feet freely. It may get better after a few hours of break-in, but my pair didn't last long enough to find out. After about 45 minutes of play, one of the lace connectors snapped off the shoe. It seemed like it was cheaply glued on and probably more would have fallen off in the future.

Comments: If you've been wearing Nike over the past few years and have been a bit disappointed, this one is worth a try. I go through 5-6 pairs of tennis shoes a year and try most of what Nike puts out. I have a medium-narrow foot with a narrow hee
