With the Phantom 100G LB, Prince adds an instant classic to their storied line of long body frames. Fans of the Classic 100 Graphite Longbody will appreciate the similarities, including Prince's signature crossbar (for stability) along with a wonderfully thin beam (for feel) and an open 16x18 string pattern (for spin). The defining feature of the 100G LB is its extended 28" length, which rewards sound mechanics with some serious momentum on groundies and serves. Other notable features include a CTS Beam (20.5-18.5-16.5) coupled with a buttery 59RA stiffness, resulting in outstanding ball feedback. The signature technology is an Anti-Torque System which combinesTeXtreme and Twaron in both the shaft and at 10 and 2 o'clock in the hoop. The result is a racquet that deforms less on impact resulting in a more solid feel. From the baseline, the Phantom 100G LB is challenging to swing, but the reward for wielding it correctly is an impressive combination of plow-through, spin and pop (think heavy ball). Players with two-handed backhands will appreciate the longer handle and added leverage. At net, sound preparation is required to unlock this racquet's charms. There's also some lethal pop to be had on overheads. The Phantom 100G LB also shines on serve where the extended length translates into an undeniable boost in power. Although this is a demanding racquet to swing, it is dangerous in the hands of experienced players who can wield it effectively.
