Overview

With its phenomenal all-around playability Prince Synthetic Gut w/ Duraflex is one of the best value strings of all time. This is not only the perfect string for budget minded players in search of solid performance, but it makes a great hybrid cross string. Compared to Prince Synthetic Gut Original, this string is slightly firmer and more durable.

Comments: I love this string! It has a bit of everything. It has really good touch, ok spin (not crazy like RPM blast but still good enough) and funky colours. But one of the best things about playing with this string is the feel. After playing with really jarring polys for a really long time this is like a godsend. It literally feels like you are playing with a pillow and you can feel the ball on every shot and feel the ball compressing on the strings. The two things i would say are not very good is the tension maintenance and durability. I find the strings move around a lot and are much more prone to breaking than heavy duty polys. But those two factors are over ruled by the fact that this string is SO CHEAP! I use this string for around 2.5 - 5 weeks and then restring due to the fact that they break or lose to much tension. And the great thing about it is that the strings and the restringing costs match the same as 1 set of high end polys. So overall if you are happy to get your racket restrung a bit more and at a lower price and at the sacrifice of spin and durability then i say go for it! I use this on My Wilson Pro Staff RF97 at 53lbs
