Middle Distance Track Spikes
Middle Distance track spikes are best suited for the 800m, 1500m, 1600m, Mile, 3,000m, and Two-mile track events. The most expensive Middle Distance track spikes are for use exclusively on the best rubber/all weather tracks. Lower priced models are designed for use on all track surfaces (dirt, asphalt, rubber/all weather).
Long Distance Track Spikes
Long Distance track spikes are best suited for the 3000m, Two-mile, 5,000m and 10,000m track events. The most expensive Long Distance track spikes are for use exclusively on the best rubber/all weather tracks. Lower priced models are designed for use on all track surfaces (dirt, asphalt, rubber/all weather).
Sprint Spikes
Sprint & Hurdle track spikes are best suited for the 100m, 200m, 400m, 100/110m hurdles, 300m/400m hurdles, 800m, 4 x 100m and 4 x 400m relays. The most expensive Sprint & Hurdle track spikes are designed for use exclusively on the best rubber/all weather tracks. Throw Shoes
Throwing shoes are designed for the Shot Put, Discus, Hammer Throw or Javelin. Shoes designed for the Shot Put, Discus and Hammer throw are available in textured or smooth outsoles. Textured outsoles are better for wet rings or beginners while smooth outsoles are best for dry rings and more advanced throwers. Javelin Shoes feature built-in spikes and added ankle support to provide maximum power when throwing the javelin.
