Using years of athlete data Nike has created an all new shoe that combines the fit, stability, and traction needed at the game's highest level. Inspired by basketball and soccer designs that support swift lateral moves, the Nike React Vapor NXT features a double layered upper and strategically placed React midsole cushioning to allow players to change direction with explosive power. The React Vapor NXT's outsole has been engineered to allow players to slide and stick when needed, contributing to efficient movement on court.

React: Pulling from other sports, Nike introduces React cushioning into tennis for the first time. React provides a sensation that is as springy as it is stable to give you superior energy return.


Flyweave: Originally born from the aerospace industry, Flyweave technology is an ultra durable weave used in the NXT's upper that contours to foot's shape. Flyweave allows Nike designers to account for the specific durability, strength and stability requirements within a shoe.
