Meet the new Pure Aero

Updating one of the game's most iconic racquet lines is a monumental task. Babolat introduces the latest Pure Aero, delivering the spin that players have come to love. With this edition, Babolat increases the flex for a more comfortable feel. Endorsed by Rafael Nadal, this racquet will let you ramp up both spin and power. There's a Pure Aero model for a range of adults to the rising juniors.

Watch our Pure Aero global review

"I found a tad more feel for the ball and better control with this update compared to the outgoing Pure Aero.
It was easy to transition between the two, but I feel this version goes back closer to the older AeroPro Drive.
When taking a full cut at the ball I got lots of power and spin."

Quick takes from our review

"It took me a while to adjust from the AeroPro Drive to the first Pure Aero, as the frame did not feel the same to me;
it was even more powerful and not as stable. But this new update is great. I absolutely love it and the feel is back."
- Valerie, Tennis Warehouse Europe

"My game style is an aggressive flat baseline player, so I’m always trying to add more spin to my ball.
I found this racquet let me produce more rip on the ball with ease. I could create better angles with better margin for error."
- Natasha, Tennis Only

Let's get technical

The technologies behind the new Pure Aero

With Carbon PLY Stabilizer, Babolat adds a special carbon material to the the throat in order to improve torsional stability and control.

Cortex Pure Feel has been added to the 3 and 9 o'clock positions of the head for a softer feel at impact.

Spin Grommets are elongated to give the strings a greater range of movement, which results in greater snapback and greater RPMs = more spin.

FSI Spin Technology creates wider spacing between the crosses for a tighter grip on the ball, which again results in more spin.
