This user-friendly midsize racquet combines surgical control with great feel.
Dunlop adds another chapter to the CX 200 Tour! Defined by its compact 95in² head and thin 20.5mm box beam, the CX 200 Tour feels like a scalpel, allowing you to hit small targets without fear of overhitting. The mid 320s swingweight keeps it from feeling sluggish and powerless on groundies, yet there is still enough mass to keep it steady when your opponent's pace goes up. This stick also shines at net where the feel is solid and the touch excellent. That said, this racquet's midsize head is a tad more demanding than its larger counterparts, which means cleaner mechanics are required to unlock its considerable charm. For this update, Dunlop increases both power and torsional stability by stiffening the frame below the 2/10 o'clock axis (think less frame wobble on off-center impact). To accommodate this change, Dunlop repositions Sonic Core with Infinergy to better dampen the shock of impact. Comfort is further enhanced by Vibroshield, a highly elastic dampening agent in the shaft and lower hoop. Like the previous generation, this model features Powergrid Stringtech+, which features wider cross-string spacing to enhance spin and power. Ultimately, with minor improvements to the feel and response, the CX200 Tour continues to be a solid option for those who want the unmistakable precision of a midsize player's racquet.
