The Wilson Starter Balls are designed to help improve your game for the aspiring junior and adult. 
The Red Starter Ball features a lower compression for significantly slower, more playable bounce characteristics. This ball bounces 75% lower than regular tennis balls, which gives players a greater opportunity to hone their strokes and focus on form as they continue to evolve their game.
It is USTA and ITF approved for competitive play and use with 10 and Under tennis and Quickstart format.
