Overview

Introducing the 3rd generation of the CX 200 Tour 18x20. An instant classic, this racquet's 18x20 string pattern, compact 95 square inch head and thin 20.5mm box beam deliver surgical control and outstanding ball feedback. It also packs a sub 320-RDC swingweight, making it one of the speediest and more user-friendly members of its class. For 2021, Dunlop adds FlexBooster technology, a thin rubber material in the shaft that absorbs harsh vibrations without compromising your connection to the ball. As with the previous generation, this racquet's upper hoop is softened with Sonic Core, a material technology that uses Infinergy to minimize shock and transfer greater energy to the ball. This stick also features a PowerGrid StringTech system, which optimizes string spacing to create a more comfortable, spin-friendly and responsive hitting experience.

On ground strokes this racquet combines easy targeting and outstanding feel with seductive levels of speed. The predictable and laser-like trajectory make it great for driving the ball through the court. Although not as grippy as the CX 200 Tour 16x19, this stick has more than enough spin potential to bring the ball down hard. The speedy feel also comes in handy at net where this racquet comes around fast to deliver enough touch to drop the ball on a dime. Ultimately, with the 2021 version of the CX 200 18x20 Tour, Dunlop has delivered an impressive player's racquet with phenomenal control and feel. The easy acceleration and quick handling is a nice bonus.

Comments: In my opinion, this is the best racquet of the line, which includes the SX and FX . A 1 hour long wait, but acted like a beautiful extension of the arm even if I do not care for the black and red. The colors at least have a history with the first appearance for me in my childhood with the Black Max in 1986. Pin striping the red would have been better. When the racquet and my morphology fused, it was a perfect extension and yet it takes a grueling hour to do so, so dedication is necessary unlike the Yonex V-Core 95. That said, the results of this will outweigh the Yonex. It is an all court racquet with a lot of nimbleness in the racquet with a weight of 315 grams. The weight is distributed well and when I asked Tennis Warehouse to measure the swing weight strung, it was 315. The head size and shape allowed for a proper balance. The CX 18 x 20 feels like a pro players racquet and worth owning before there are no more 95's left, because of the upward size path to companies.

Comments: The racquets are great except that I purchased two of them at different times and there is a 12 grams different between them.

Comments: I found 18x20 on a 95 square inch head a little excessive and boardy. Too underpowered for me, but great racquet with tons of feel and comfort. If you bring a lot of power or touch and feel game, could be a great match for you. It is very similar to the Head Gravity line, but with a more familiar head shape and smaller size for even more control. Also pictures and videos do not do this racquet's cosmetics justice. See one in person and you will notice how high quality and elegant the paint job feels and looks, right up there with Yonex. I was pleasantly surprised, just not for me.

Comments: Amazing racquet. Swings a little fast. Put three inch lead strips at 12 o'clock, and it feels like you can do anything. Updated Flex Booster gives it a more plush feel than last version. With just that little extra weight at the tip; control, power on full swings, solid volleys, easy serving. My strings are Volkl Cyclone 17 gauge at 49 pounds. I am a 5.0 level player.
